So now, I am a mom. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. My kids and I are healing together. I trust God has me being here, present in this place, for His purpose and plan exactly like the all years before. And I will thrive here once again. What am I doing? I'm just a mom. And I love it.

Christmas so often means focusing on a baby and His birth. This season I'm thankful for that baby's life to come; the pain He knew would come and He chose anyway. I'm praising God for the Savior he sent as a baby only to die to give us a place of a Heavenly home someday.
On to a few of my favorite things. You know it's the holiday season, so I have stepped up my fashion game. HA! Just kidding. Don't be fooled. I'm still wearing Nike shorts. I've just added my Ugg boots and a polartec fleece to keep cozy. But, when I do leave the house for more than just snagging the mail, I've found a few things I love.
